Satchell Engineering & Associates was asked to make an assessment and recommendations for future renovations of the 35-year-old SeaWorld Orlando, Shark Encounter life support systems. The 700,000-gallon habitat housing an impressive collection of sea life was equipped with pressure sand filtration, and ozone for disinfection. This system was state of the art in 1979 but needed to be updated as LSS design has evolved over the last 35+ years
