Robert Satchell was lead LSS engineer for the endangered Sumatran Tigers exhibit located in the Colorado Ocean Journey which is now refereed to as Downtown Aquarium. Robert was instrumental in all phases of the project, from schematic design through construction administration. The exhibit was to reflect the journey of the Indonesia River which would include other animals such as Asia arowanas, rainbow fish, along with the Sumatran Tigers. A main focal point of the exhibit is the underwater viewing of the tigers along with large sea otters. Visitors not only get to see the critically endangered Sumatran tigers in the above water viewing but also get to see them play underwater in the clear waters.
